Realm GT 2 Pro will feel like paper
One of the most interesting design decisions we have ever seen on the phone lately, the new device will display the texture inspired by paper according to tweets from Koustabh Das, a senior communication specialist with RealMeindia. This phone is jointly designed by the realm and Naoto Fukusawa design studio, a famous Japanese industry designer. In the past Fukusawa has worked with companies such as Muji, Herman Miller, Alessi, and are generally considered one of the most influential designers in the world. Fukusawa also works with realm in the design for the GT Master Edition series device.
To achieve texture, Realme said that this cellphone was designed using new bio-based polymer material. The material was reportedly supplied by Saudi Arabia’s Sabic. Realme has also obtained international sustainability and carbon certification (ISCC) to prove the friendliness of the device to the environment. Furthermore, the realm packaging for the telephone will use 0.3% plastic in packaging compared to 21.7% which has been used in the precursor of devices.
Realm GT 2 Pro is set to release in China on January 4, 2022. However, the company spokesman confirmed to Engadget that it will be launched abroad sometime. Realm has not distributed full specifications such as battery size and screen, but we hope to hear more after January debut.
