Samsung really intends to make the mainstream folding, and rumors say that it allocates most of 2022 production to this device. Even though it might really want the Galaxy Z to fold the line in the niche market, it is the Galaxy Z flip clamshell that gets a lion. That’s partly because of the price and partly because of the more familiar design. While the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is sold quite well, there must be a lot of improvement. This laundry list of things we hope that Samsung will be put into the Galaxy Z Flip 4 next year, even if some may sound a little too good to be true.
No-brainer: CPU, memory, camera
There will always be some hardware updates every generation, so this is pretty much. Then again, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 proves that Samsung can sometimes take a step back, depending on how the wind market blows. So, while we expect GEN1 Snapdragon 8 and maybe even 12GB of RAM for Galaxy Z Flip 4, there is one increase in certain hardware, we will definitely die.
We hope that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will eventually have a better camera next year. Samsung has used a pair of the same 12MP sensor since the first Galaxy Z reverses early last year, and increasingly dated in its ability. Indeed, it will need more carvings for sensors, but the sensors also shrink over the past few years.
Samsung is clearly one of the leading manufacturers of camera sensors like that, so it is a bit disappointing that it can’t be better for folding it. Taking pictures has become a large use case for smartphones, and the Flip Galaxy Z design makes it almost fun to use the main camera for selfies. Hopefully, we will see at least 50MP main cameras next year without too far from small folds.
Not the camera down screen
One “upgrade” we will be fine without a sensor under the Samsung panel (UPS), what he calls the implementation of the camera down. Although it has been rumored to have worked on technology for many years, this UPS was first debuted at Galaxy Z Fold 3. Suffice it to say, mostly not happy with it.
Not that the camera is terrible, it’s just that it’s definitely not the best in class. The images and videos that produce enough can be used if it is rather cream thanks to post-processing, but they must be defeated by the camera faced regularly under the punch hole. It is also not visible, especially when compared to the implementation of the Second Gen of ZTE.
Samsung can increase its UDC next year, but it may be too early in iterations to actually put it on the Galaxy Z Flip 4. Can be forced to use this year’s hardware if it encourages the design, which will definitely happen to wart on the face fold, Even if it’s not visible. Some people might argue that the main camera of the Galaxy Z Flip takes better selfies, but, unlike Galaxy Z Fold 3, you cannot make video calls on the cover screen.
More reliable screen
The Galaxy Z Flip Series is being marketed as a folding cellphone that is easier to approach with a familiar and screen design, in theory, must have fewer opportunities for damage due to smaller size. Galaxy Z Flip 3 also introduces a stronger UTG material and a better hinge system to ensure the durability that is enhanced folding screens over the previous generation.
But in practice, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 turned out to be more troubled by a bigger brother. A surprising gap report in the center of the screen, right on the fold, popping up on the internet. There seems to be no known reason for this behavior, giving several reasons the buyer to survive.
